Gladys Silva is a professional educator and psychologist. She works as a Professor of Foreign Languages at the school of Graduate students of Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos in Lima.

She has been a constant member of various international conferences such as the Commission on the Status of Women, the UN Conference on Sustainable development, the UN Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues, the Congress of Land Management Plan, and the Meeting of Latin American Geographers.

Manuel is an award winning Quechua filmmaker. Manuel is a certified cinema director from the Hollywood Film Institute and Inca Garcilaso De La Vega University. He has volunteered and worked for UNTV, CUNYTV, and NETWORKGLOBAL COMPANIES and has several US television credits.

Alfredo is an economist-engineer he has studied at the National Engineering University. He is a certified public accountant from the Federico Villarreal National University, and an attorney from the Alas Peruanas University.

Alfredo has a professional experience working as an import assistant at the Industrial Filaments S.A. Company. Currently he is working at the General Accounting office as an auditor.

Marcos Bizarro has a Bachelor’s degree in geography at National University of San Marcos, Lima. He is president of the academic circle “Geographic Research Center and Projection” (GRCP).

He has fieldwork experience in environmental monitoring, GIS management with emphasis on Geography, Cartography, Mapping. Also Marcos has been managing projects in private corporations and public institutions working as a director in Latin American Organization of Security SAC and as an assistant in Planning Institute of Lima.

He is also an active supporter of Indigenous People’s rights, and concern about Climate Change, Desertification and Sustainable Development issues around the planet.

Dux Supo has a Bachelor’s degree in geography at National University of San Marcos, Lima. Dux is member of the academic circle “Geographic Research Center and Projection”, which has been carrying out projects in rational use of natural resources and sustainable development.

Dux has experience in gathering data survey, topographic survey and processing of digital information in GIS software’s; skill in the application of participatory methodologies, excellent interpersonal grade of sociability, ability to work in a team or individually; high grade of discipline, and a strong capacity of field observation.

He is also an active supporter of Indigenous People’s rights, and concern about Climate Change, Desertification and Sustainable Development issues around the planet.

Rocio Castillo is a professional graduated in Education from Federico Villarreal National University In 2008, she studied Master´s in University Teaching at the same university.

She also has a Diploma of specialization in teaching Spanish to speakers of other languages from Pontifical Catholic University. She studied English at ICPNA and holds the TKT certification from Cambridge University.

She is an experienced English Teacher at primary, secondary and at National San Marcos National University.

She also has extensive knowledge of modern methodologies for teaching English or Spanish as a Second Language as well as criteria for the development of training materials and necessary to develop the learning session at any level activities.

Dr. Kovaleva is a project management professional with over ten years of experience managing large international and global projects for both private and public sector. Working for UNESCO from 2012 to 2014 she managed a project empowering local communities with radio and new digital technologies.

She is also an active supporter of women’s and youth’s rights around the world. Polina has degrees in Journalism and Marketing and has recently defended her PhD in Media and Communications.

Luis worked in documental photography projects in Peru and worked closely with the Andean and forest communities. He taught them to use photography for their local projects for preserving their identity and also as a tool for empowerment. Luis has a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Media from Inca Garcilaso de la Vega University, Lima.

Born in Asuncion, Paraguay, Bettina Escauriza is a Philadelphia-based artist and writer of Guarani descent. Her work deals with a broad range of issues including Indigenous Peoples' rights, immigrant experience, environmental justice, urbanism, and feminism. The main focus of her work is the reclamation and preservation of Indigenous cultural heritage as a critical component for sustainable development. She is currently working on a film about pohã ñana the medicinal plant culture of Paraguay based on ancestral Guarani knowledge.
