Git' It Done
We gracciously present to you the our project, "Git' It Done". The project is the combined efforts of:
- Belinda Crichlow
- Christ Marc Louissaint
- Beia Rivers
- Brent Wyatt
- The Task ID is randomly created
- Form Validations creates pop up when there are empty fields after the add task button is clicked
- When a task is added or deleted a green bar appears at the top of entry form fades after 3 secconds
- When the Task button is click it calls a function to display the task in browser and to commit it to localStorage
- The delete button on each task delete that task from display and from the localStorage
- The first challenge was a lack of detail-orientation
- Getting the text color for the a:hover on the Delete button to turn be white
- We didn't have time to use the import and export features for index.js and taskManager.js
- At first we couldn't add the tasks to storage (Thank you Michael for teaching us what to do)
- Then we couldn't remove it from storage (Thank you Giovanni for helping us decipher the "weird code".)"target.parentElement.previousElementSibling.previousElementSibling.previousElementSibling.previousElementSibling.textContent"
- Get the status to change to a red background to overdue when a task is overdue
- Understanding what the weird code does "e.target.parentElement.previousElementSibling.previousElementSibling.previousElementSibling.previousElementSibling.textContent"
- Finally learning how to use local storage
- Deleting tasks from local storage
- Understanding code written by another coder
- De-mystiying OOP
- Learning on the fly
Thank you to the Teachers
- Michael
- Mimi
- Giovanni
- Eric

You raised the bar on our learning goals with the Mindset goals, quizzes, and code challenges. Persistence was our main diet for the past few weeks. We did some future mindset to learn localStorage.
Thank you to our co-particpants in the breakout rooms you contributed to our learning goals
